Yes, tallow is beef fat in its purest form, so even after meticulous rendering and purifying there will always be a faint earthy scent to it, similar to ghee (clarified butter). However upon application it dissipates quickly as it melts into the skin. If you are worried, we recommend choosing one of our botanical-infused or essential oil blends.

Our raw tallow balms are oil-based and completely shelf-stable on their own. For products containing water-soluble elements, we use Eco-certified compounds approved for use in organic skincare. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Please allow 2–5 business days once dispatched. Rural addresses may take a little longer.
